Model/Plan and Pallet/Storyboard Assignment
Updated
by Dan Stern
Assignment of templates/models/plans and the assigning of styles/pallets/storyboards can be completed in two ways, depending if you have BuildBase Sales Licensed.
Assigning with BuildBase Sales
If your company is licensed for BuildBase Sales, you must assign the model in the sales lot configuration.
First you must configure the model in both BuildBase Sales and the Item Library. Please see the learning documents on how.
Once the proper configuration is completed, navigate to the lot you want to assign the model for by navigating to the sales dashboard

If the lot has already been configurated you can find the job and click on the job description

If the lot has not been configured yet, then click on the cog and configure the required jobs.

The jobs have been configured if there is a cog next to the project/building and unit

You an assign the model by clicking the Assign Template and Style by clicking the Assign Template/Style buttons

Once they are assigned it will look like this

If you go to the job card in Dynamics, you will see that the model and style have been assigned
